그리고 내일 아침에 20사단 지휘부대가 군분교에 도착을 하면 기습해서 장비를 모두 빼앗고, 그중 한 대는 목포에서 광주로 진격하고 있는 김대중 부대 차량과 접선을 해 전남도청 앞으로 진격시켜 운송해 온 무기들을 신속하게 내리게 하라. 나머지 장비를 이용해 절개-절단 공사를 하지 않은 도로를 이용해 아시아자동차로 가서 신속하게 납품 대기 중인 군용차량을 접수해, 차량 별로 명령서에 있는 그대로 목적지로 가서 김대중 부대가 준비해 놓은 무기와 실탄과 폭발물을 싣고 전남도청 앞으로 집결해 오후 1시에 포위된 공수부대를 몰살시키고 대전으로 진격할 것이다. 이를 위해 아시아자동차에서 첫 번째로 출동하는 차량들은 광주교도소로 배치하고, 교도소에는 동지들이 있고 이미 연락해 놓은 31사단 병력이 진격해 주둔 중에 있으므로 신속하게 ‘교도소를 해방시키고, 광주 시내로 진격하라’고 별도 지시해 놓았다.


And when the 20th Division Command arrives at the Military Branch School tomorrow morning, they should surprise them and take all their equipment. One of the vehicles should then be used to make contact with Kim Dae-jung's unit, which is advancing from Mokpo to Gwangju, and advance to the front of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Office to quickly unload the weapons they have transported. To this end, the first vehicles to be dispatched from Asia Motors were deployed to Gwangju Prison, and since there are comrades in the prison and the 31st Division troops that have already been contacted are stationed there, separate instructions were given to quickly “liberate the prison and advance into downtown Gwangju.”

특히 군분교 점령 작전 개시 시간에 광주교도소에 있는 휴민트 가족들이 ‘교도소를 습격한다’고 교도소 측에 지속적으로 연락해 교도소에서, 31사단 측에 병력 지원을 요청하게 해 31사단이 자연스럽게 병력 출동을 할 수 있도록 별도로 지시해 놓아 오늘 밤 작전들이 어제와 그제와는 다른 성격임을 모두 느끼고 긴장했다.


In particular, the Humint family in Gwangju Prison continuously contacted the prison to say that they would 'attack the prison' at the start of the operation to capture the military branch, prompting the prison to request troops from the 31st Division, and the 31st Division to send troops out naturally, so everyone was nervous that the operations tonight would be different from yesterday and the day before.

오늘 아침 7시에, 3공수여단의 광주도착을 시작으로 저녁에는 20사단 선발대가 도착할 것이다. 내일 작전을 위해서 전교사 동지들은 나중 자신들의 안전을 위해 공수부대 철수를 육군본부에 요청해 놓고 이를 비밀로 한 후, 도지사를 이용해 시간을 끌면서 공수부대 철수를 막아서 섬멸할 시간을 확보해 놓으라. 여수-순천 지역을 제외한 17개 시-군-읍에 소재한 예비군 무기고를 김대중 부대가 오늘 밤 문을 열어 1만 명 이상이 무장할 수 있는 무기들을 확보해 놓는 것이 오늘 작전의 요지임을 숙지한 지휘관들은 긴장하고 각자 임무지로 돌아갔다.


Starting with the arrival of the 3rd Airborne Brigade in Gwangju at 7 a.m. today, the 20th Division advance team will arrive in the evening. All the JeonGyosa comrades should request the Army Headquarters to withdraw the airborne troops for their own safety later, and keep this a secret, and use the governor to delay the withdrawal of the airborne troops and secure time to annihilate them. 한편, 전교사사령부에서는 여장 지휘관(리을설)의 작전 지시대로 505보안부대요원들이 서울 합수부에서 파견 나온 특수요원들에게 상황설명을 하였다. 오늘 밤 광주 시내에서 아주 큰 소요가 있을 것이라는 정보가 있으므로, 전원이 시내로 잠입해 사진 촬영은 물론 현장에서 ‘대공 용의자를 체포할 수 있도록 해야 한다’고 긴장감을 높이고 있었지만, 사실은 군분교 일대에서 벌어지는 북한군들의 “군분교 점령작전”이 노출되지 않도록 사전 조치를 하는 것일 뿐이었다.

 

Meanwhile, at the JeonGyoSa headquarters, 505 Security Forces personnel explained the situation to the special agents dispatched from the Joint Investigation Headquarters in Seoul as per the instructions of the cross-dressing commander (Lee Eul-seol). There was information that there would be a major disturbance in downtown Gwangju tonight, so everyone was on edge, saying that they should infiltrate the city and not only take pictures but also arrest the suspected North Korean agents on the spot. In fact, they were just taking precautionary measures to prevent the North Korean troops from carrying out their “capture operation of the military branch school” in the area of the military branch school from being exposed.

 

집무실에서 작전회의를 하고 있던 전투병과교육사령관은 자신이 교체된 사실도 모르고 새로 부임해온 사령관에게, “무슨 일로 왔냐?”고 묻고 있었고 새로 온 사령관은, “명령을 받고 왔고 이젠 전임 사령관은 체신부 장관이 되었다”고 전하기에 참모들조차도 사령관이 교체된 사실을 모르고 있었다. 오직 청죽회 출신 장군들과 고급장교들만 사전에 그 사실을 알고 있어, 2군사령부에서 내려오고 있는 20사단 관련 작전명령을 모조리 하루씩 뒤로 미뤄 놓으면서, 사령관의 급박한 교체를 핑계로 나중에 변명할 사유로 만들어 놓고 있었다.

Only the Cheongjukhoe-belonging generals and high-ranking officers knew about this in advance, and they were putting off all the 20th Division-related operational orders coming down from the 2nd Army Command by one day at a time, using the urgent replacement of the commander as an excuse to make an excuse later.
